Hi! I’m DarkPixie1340. I’m a 28-year-old gamer and writer. This blog is a school project with Indian University East. I chose to dedicate this blog project to Animal Crossing: New Horizons because this game got me through the pandemic of 2019. Like most adult players of ACNH, I enjoy the simplicity and laid-back vibes of ACNH.
Before ACNH, I mostly played action role-playing games like Fallout, The Witcher, or turn-based RPGs of Kingdom Hearts and Pokemon. ACNH combines my love of cute things and collecting with having a blank map ready to be filled. I will sometimes admit I get bored playing ACNH, and in that time, I will put the Switch away, play another game, and go back when I know I am ready. After Nintendo stopped updating, many players began to feel this way; I don’t think this is uncommon for ACNH players.
This blog will hopefully inspire you to build your island the way to want it to be. If there is anything, you want me to cover in a post, leave a comment or send a message. I am always willing to help a fellow island!
